Petersburg Quantum Weeks 2025
1-9 July 2025
Petersburg Quantum Weeks
are envisaged as a new academic initiative aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in the vibrant field of quantum physics. The event combines a state-of-the-art scientific agenda of the International Summer Conference on Theoretical Physics with an intensive educational program of the School on Quantum Physics and Technologies.
The International Summer Conference on Theoretical Physics (ISCTP):
July 1st - 4th
The four-day conference will bring together leading scientists in theoretical and mathematical physics to present and discuss the latest advancements in the field. The ISCTP will feature in-depth discussions, keynote lectures, and poster sessions covering a broad spectrum of topics including:
Quantum computing
Quantum optics
Atomic physics
Particle physics
Solid-state physics
Astrophysics
School on Quantum Physics and Technologies:
July 7th - 9th
The intensive three-day school is designed for students, young researchers, and professionals seeking a deeper understanding of quantum physics and its applications. The school will offer lectures led by the experts in quantum computing, quantum optics, vortex particles, strong-field QED, highly charged ions, strongly correlated and low-dimensional systems.
Cultural Program:
July 5th - 6th
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the historical and cultural landmarks of St. Petersburg, with social events designed to promote networking. Further details on the cultural program will be released closer to the event dates.
